YMCA: Credit Counseling & Youth Involvement When a new YMCA opened in a neighborhood located near Lighthouse, we provided the financial support needed to ensure that local children without the ability to pay for YMCA membership could join. Now these individuals can benefit from the wonderful programs offered to YMCA members.
The YMCA also offers a mentor program run by Lighthouse. This program reaches many local youth and young adults and those participating in this program have had the opportunity to:
Interact with business professionals from Lighthouse
Learn the principles behind entrepreneurship
Generate ideas on viable businesses
Develop business plans
